A playful composition of miniature paisley-inspired motifs travels around a delicate strand of freshwater pearls, each punctuated with deep green and rani-pink accents and tiny pearl clusters. At its centre sits an elaborate kundan medallion, bringing together jewel-toned green and pink with a softly aged gold finish.

There is something almost musical about Jhumri—the repetition, movement and abundance of its tiny suspended details give the necklace its character. Rooted in familiar forms of Indian ornament, it feels spirited rather than ceremonial: an heirloom language interpreted with a lighter hand.
