A strand of freshwater pearls, punctuated with ruby and deep-green stone beads, is adorned with enamelled night birds and delicate kundan-set ornaments. At its centre rests a Mughal-inspired medallion where a crescent moon unfolds into flowering forms, rendered in crimson enamel, uncut stones and fine gold tracery.

Finished with softly clustered pearls and dark-green beads, the piece evokes a moonlit royal garden hushed, romantic and alive with unseen movement.
